Stick
this over the power-button of your computer!
This
computer is working for
evolution@home
therefore
do not switch off.
During
operation:
- The program
Simulator005
uses all spare CPU-time while running in background
- If you need to stop the simulator temporarily for some
reason, put a file with the name "break.txt" in
the simulators folder. The upcoming user dialog allows continuation
of the simulation as if nothing had happened.
- Screensavers and energy saving functions decrease performance.
- The screen itself can be switched off (not the computer
itself!)
When
the simulator has finished:
- After all simulations from "run.txt" have been
computed, the program quits and changes the name of the
run-file.
- Then please
remove the results ("S005_RESULTS.txt") from the
simulators folder, email them as an attachment to simulator005@evolution-at-home.net
and finally get a new run-file from www.evolutionary-research.net
