Do
you want to stay in touch?
If you want
to be part of the evolution@home network now, just go for
it and download a simulator. You do not need to register to
contribute results. You can stay completely anonymous if you
do not want to provide personal details during the simulators
set up dialog.
If you think
that evolution@home is interesting, but the current semi-automated
way of operation is too archaic for you to join the network,
then you can sign up to our
evolution@home
newsletter English (subscribe

evolution@home

where we will keep
you up to date on the most important technical advances of
evolution@home. This is your best way to make sure that you
don't miss any important news about evolution@home and that
you can start computing as soon as a simulator is released
that suits your preferences.
If you are
more interested in research that is broadly relevant to evolutionary
theory, regardless of whether evolution@home was involved
in it or not, then you can sign up to our
evolutionary-research
newsletter English (subscribe

where we will present
some interesting research results from scientists around the
world at irregular intervals. This newsletter is a service
that is currently under development, so the frequency of news
that appear on this channel will be low initially.
To subscribe
to a newsletter, please enter your email address (and name,
if you want) into the corresponding subscription form. You
will be asked to confirm this, by replying to an email that
we send you. Please don't worry about the German labeling,
for the time being, it is too difficult to turn it off.
Here is a
translation: Anmelden = Subscribe, Abmelden = Unsubscribe.
The yellow box just asks you to "Please fill in all fields.
Fields with a star are mandatory." If you enter a bad
email address (or none), then an additional message will be
displayed saying "An error has occurred. Please provide
a valid email address."
After pressing subscribe ("Anmelden"), you will
see a message that confirms successful subscription ("Ihre
Anmeldung war erfolgreich" = Your subscription was successful).
If you entered an email address that already exists in this
mailinglist, then you will be asked to enter another address
("Es sind Fehler aufgetreten. Diese E-Mail Adresse ist
schon eingetragen" = There were errors. This email address
exists already).
To unsubscribe
to a newsletter, please enter your email address into the
corresponding unsubscription form. Please don't worry about
the German labeling, for the time being, it is too difficult
to turn it off.
Here is a
translation: Abmelden = Unsubscribe. The yellow box says that
"The following email address will be deleted from our
recipients database" If you enter a bad email address
(or none), then an additional message will be displayed saying
"Exception: An error has occurred. This email is not
in our database."
At the moment,
our research newsletter is in English only (despite the German
labels on the subscription form).
